The Magic of Buna Coffee
I'm often asked why I chose to write a story about an Ethiopian girl and how I know SO much about buna!

If you look at my book's dedication page, it goes like this:

"To my Israeli Ethiopian family who taught me the magic of buna."

For many years now I've been an adopted aunt in this large  extended family.  I don't know how it happened, but it did!  And they have been a blessing in my life.  Here we are:

I really love the way you tell the story. I'm sure that lots of children will relate to what you write about as well as learning all about the buna ceremony. Good luck!

I had so much fun writing The Big Buna Bash, and I want to share it to inspire cultural pride in kids who might feel like they don't fit in because of their differences.  I believe in diversity and inclusion; that's why I wrote The Big Buna Bash!
