Ethiopian children want to read but don't have easy access to books, especially books with beautiful, colorful illustrations. In Ethiopia, libraries are few and limited to the compounds of schools. These libraries are filled with textbooks, and storybooks are rare.
Our goal is to print and distribute 500 copies of The Big Buna Bash to be given to elementary school libraries in Gondar, Ethiopia, where I am currently working on a literacy project.
$1.00 prints one book for one child that might not have ever owned a storybook. Your donation will make it happen!
